There’s no Easier Life, It’s Just You get Stronger

Life is unfair. It seems hard for some people, while it’s really easy for others. You should be grateful if you feel life is easy. Maybe you were born with golden spoon. If you were born from dirt spoon, you can’t complain. You can’t protest to your parent, “why we’re being so poor?” You just accept it and learn how to survive in this cruel world. Complain, excuses, protest can’t change your life instantly. It could become worse.

Unfortunately, there’s bad news for you. There’s no true guide how you could really survive in this reality. You can’t copy other’s way to being success. You have your own way. If some way work for others, it doesn’t mean it’ll work for you too. You just need to find your route. The good news, there’s so many ways to being success. The hard part, no matter what your way to choose there’s always hurdle and dangerous. There’s always risk that haunting you. If you’re week, you can’t pass it. The only way you can go through it if you get stronger.

Being stronger, doesn’t mean you should get work out. Yes, it’s one of them. But you don’t only need to exercise your body. There’s 3 parts of yourself need to be exercise and get stronger:

  1. Your Health
  2. Your Mind
  3. Your Spiritual

Your Health

No matter how much your money has, it’s useless if you can’t enjoy it. It’s just an empty paper. The best condition to enjoy life is when you’re being healthy. When you’re sick or ill. You can’t taste what a great life is. Even just good food, you can’t taste it. So, it’s really important to always being good condition.

I still remember one of my teacher’s advices. Even I don’t remember his name, but the advice will always be remembered. Not exactly all words, but the point still rent free in my mind. He said, “You don’t need six pack in your abs. You just need stay fit.”

That opener line successfully gains my attention. Then he continues, “Doesn’t matter you’ve sexy abs or not, the fit condition it’s all you need. If you want always stay fit, you need control and manage your breath. Breath is the most important activity for living creature. If your breath is heavy, there’s something wrong in your body. If you get tired easily, you’re not in fit condition. Always listen your body”

I listen it finely. That’s good advice. Because it came from mouth of good teacher who have great shape body. I Listen him. Because he said that not just for an excuse that he’s not have great abs. But, because he had it, that’s why I listen. It’s like you listen Warren Buffet said, “Money is not important”. That’s legit advice. Because Warren Buffet is one of the richest people in this planet.

The breath is like alarm. If you can’t breathe well, it means you need get up from your comfort bed to jog and burn that calory. Stay healthy. Not because you hate being sick, it’s because you love your body.

Practice: Stretch your body for 20 minutes every day. Don’t start from the heavy practice, start from the basic.

Your Mind

It’s all start from the mind. What you see this world, when you judge your circumstance, what you think about people think about you. Not only your body need to fit, your mind needs it. Mind can affect your body, your condition, and even your future. Strong and open mind will lead you to everywhere. While closed and weak mind will make you stay in the corner.

Upgrade your mind by read all the good things. A self-improvement book, a good thread, a tutorial’s article, even a good fiction also trains your mind. Don’t too addicted watching movie — I’m sorry movie mania. But the movie makes your mind lazy. Yes, it’s fun. But the fun could become your drug to your mind. The book. Specially the fiction. Will train your mind to imaginate a thing, a new whole world. Even it’s not about fantasy. Your mind will adapt to play simulation. How the main character doing, how about the sidekick story. And many things will come to your mind. The mind getting stronger every time you read.

Practice: Put your phone down to avoid distraction. Read a book. Just 5 pages a day is enough.

Your Spiritual

Some people will avoid it. Even they just allergic when the others speak about being religious or spiritual. They just think the religion will only make people going crazier or delusional. Actually, they don’t hate the religion or God. Maybe they just disappoint about the people in religion. If you learn the religion based on the people you will disappoint. Because they’re imperfect. Even they live with being religious one. They just human not God or an angel. They could make mistake same as not the religious one.

Being spiritual person don’t make you connected to the God. But it helps you to stay connected others. Not only the people, also all the things around you. Your environment, your problem, your daily habit, your freaking traffic jam, even just your breakfast. Being spiritual it’s about the ability stay calm and quiet in all the situation. You need to enjoy the moment, the power of now should be your palm. You need to know how to react or just stay quiet. You don’t rush a thing. You don’t need to answer all the issue about what happens in another world.

Practice: Meditate at morning. Gratitude at the night before sleep. Pray to The One who made you.
